    I recommend heating the cod cake in the oven at 400 for 15-20 min covered with foil. The mashers can be microwaved and the side can be enjoyed cold or microwaved. You can also hear the cod cake in a skillet with a small amount of oil over medium high heat for about 4 minutes on each side. This will give you a nice crispy crust and is faster than the oven.
